Interim Pastor Wayne Young
This is the fourth church interim Pastor Wayne has been called to handle; the others were in North Charleston, North Myrtle Beach and McCormick, SC. He attended the University of Central Florida and received a degree in Social Work. In addition, Pastor Wayne received his Master of Divinity degree from Lutheran Theological Southern University.
Through his ministry, he likes exploring different ways for us to share the good news of God’s love with others and exploring the scripture and God’s will. Providing pastoral care for visiting members, perspectives, sick, hospitalized, and bereaved are important to him as well. He likes to be involved with the community by providing food for the needy and the poor.

Melissa Frye

Melissa Frye is the church’s Office Administrator.
Melissa has lived in the Lowcountry for twenty-three years. She has two children, Miles and Molly, and loves being a baseball mom. A foster “parent” for kittens, she has worked at Lord of Life for the last ten years. She is the heartbeat of the church, supporting day-to-day operations, handling phone calls and foot traffic, and scheduling use of the building.
